The Receiver and Stock are manufactured from a Stamped sheet of Steel, finished in factory authentic Chemical Blue, while the Hand Guard made from stained Real Wood, just like the real thing. Designed in the 1970s for use by Soviet Forces in need of a Compact Carbine, the AKS-74U is simply an AKS-74 Side Folding Stock assault rifle cut down to Carbine Length. As an N/Night Fighting variant, the ELAKS74UN features the Side Mount Bracket for a NSPU Night Sight. As part of E&Ls premier range, the ELAKS74UN is supplied as standard with Superior Quality internals. The Wiring is Silver Low Resistance, connected to a High Torque Motor, with Steel Gears and 9mm bearings. This is combined with a Silent Piston Head, a a 1-piece CNC Cylinder and a Precision Tight bore Barrel. Manufactured in exactly the same way even down to the Factory Trademarks; this really is an authentic replica, and is ideal for Collectors and Airsofters alike.
