Backdraft Phoenix Batch 2 Solenoid Upgrade Kit

The Phoenix has undergone some changes since its initial release - Now you can upgrade the solenoid and FCU!

Designed from the ground up with adjustability in mind, you can improve efficiency, power, and performance by swapping out this assembly!

Installation + Tuning Process with catalyst gen 2:

1) Remove the rear assembly from your existing phoenix
2) Install the new solenoid assembly
3) Set the dwell to 5 milliseconds (I recommend using the catalyst gen 2 for this)
4) Adjust the solenoid throw screw until the engine begins to sound weaker (The solenoid throw screw is the hex screw at the back of the engine)
5) Raise your dwell by 1-2 milliseconds

Installation + Tuning Process with catalyst gen 1:

1) Set the Dwell as low as possible on the catalyst gen 1 (Do this with the unmodified Phoenix HPA engine - In this position if you set the dwell any lower the engine should stop functioning)
2) Remove the old solenoid assembly
3) Install the new solenoid assembly
4) Adjust the solenoid throw screw until the engine begins to sound weaker (The solenoid throw screw is the hex screw at the back of the engine)
5) Raise your dwell slightly if the engine is unreliable
